kids are stupid
well at least the 3 car loads of kids racing on I-40 weaving in and out of traffic the other day they were stupid. and I shudder to think that my own child will be driving in a mere 8 years.....
It still amazes me how lucky we were without car seats, seat belts or air bags.
I look at the cars that Pat, Christian and I drove those days and there is no way I'd let my kids in one of them today. (well, maybe my Capri. I still want to find and build another one ;-)
Unfortunately the parents are as dumb today as they were then. Give a kid a brand new BMW or Mustang GT? The difference is a new Mustang GT in 1986 had 200 horsepower and today it has over 300. I guess parents don't realize this.
