that is answer the question asked not what I think the teacher is asking.
I keep losing really stupid & easy points on my lab assignments and it's annoying! And my own fault so I need to get my s**t together.
The one point I lost that I did not think was fair was on an unknown organism we had to test & identify which I did very well I thought. I was proud of myself because I had been having a little trouble with the microscope during those assignments but it all came together for me that evening also lucky because that was my night for a scope test-a test so the teacher would know that I knew what I was doing-I was dead on or so I thought till I got my data sheet and lost a point because I had identified Staphylococcus epidermidis although the tube my teacher handed allegedly contained Rhodospirillum rubrum. The professor had even looked at my slide so knew my answer based on the data in front of me was correct but the tube said no so I lost a point....I suppose something along the way must have been contaminated but it makes me more apprehensive for our finals which will be a couple of weeks of dealing with unknowns

twitter! go figure...
For the uninitiated twitter is yet another social networking site a sort of mini blogging thing where you you have 140 characters to convey or "tweet" whatever it is you want to convey. You can follows folks and vice versa to see what gems they are putting out there or more often than not what they had for breakfast. I realize this is far from the first last or only post extolling the virtues of twitter but honestly I am increasingly finding my breaking news there first these days, the gas gouging this past summer, school closings storm warnings & watches as well as the difference 'cause I can never keep that straight for some reason and the fact that Bourdain is coming to Knoxville!!!

what is our learning curve on this?
so once a week for the past 3 weeks I have been faced with an 8 year old announcing to me as he is getting dressed that he has no clean jeans available.
week 1: I announce to a child in utter shock, horror & bewilderment that perhaps he could wear his church pants. No no that won't do he finds a pair of pants that sort of fit that will work for a day
week 2: the pants that sort of fit last week not so much this week. As luck would have it K-town was experiencing a warm snap so shorts were an acceptable alternative
week 3: this morning same old story except church pants were dirty and it was not shorts weather. They had no school so I threw some jeans in the laundry expecting to have to start my day later than planned but luckily in the interim C found a pair of sweatpants so he wore those to daycare.
we had a little chat in the car on the way in that since mommy was so very busy these days that perhaps he could let me know when he grabbed the last clean pair of jeans so i would not be a surprise as he was going to get ready. And in his infinite wisdom he let me know he knew I was only one person and I could not do it all and that he would be happy to help me out.

lazy Sunday
well not exactly lazy-I have been working on homework, catching up laundry, made dinner in the crockpot, did dishes umm goofed off on the computer and caught up on some of my DVR'd tv shows a full day in my opinion and it is still only 2:00! I am going to put off grocery shopping till tomorrow afternoon so I can spend some time with my favorite boys. This only having one day a week off is taxing to say the least and yes I know it will get worse before it gets better but boy I have been feeling rundown, overwhelmed and just generally sorry for myself all damn week. I am hoping to have a better attitude this week but please bear with me if I can't quite manage to follow through with that!
