now I remember why I hate wearing glasses

I got my first pair of contacts when I graduate high school in um well 1985 and have not worn glasses with any sort of regularity since then. Last year I did get a updated pair of back up glasses but since insurance wasn't paying I went for cheap cheap cheap which meant basically coke bottle glasses but I like the frames a bunch and they were just for emergency purposes. Right in the middle of the holidays and David's medical crises my contacts were giving me fits and I could not wear them for much longer than an hour or two at a time and time was not something I had a lot of so I quit wearing contacts altogether. The glasses oddly do not bother like they did years ago except the whole fogging up when you come in & out of a building in the heat or cold it drives me nuts! Can't they invent glasses that don't do that?

glasses found this afternoon in a spot all three of us looked this morning....several times.
A spare pair of glasses will however be purchased in the near future for just such a future occasion.

C has lost his glasses and I suppose I should be grateful that it has taken this long I mean he has had them for a whole 6 months already without incident...Guess who is going to have to pay for new glasses with his own money?

glasses update

it has apparently opened up a whole new world for him!
Just wish we had realized how much trouble he was having, now I just hope this helps improve things at school!
and can I just say(yes I know I'm partial) but is he not frickin adorable?

four eyes?

one of the things C brought to my attention yesterday afternoon was that he was having difficulty seeing the board at school so I called and made an appointments for both of us at the eye doctor. fun fun I got my first pair of glasses when I was in third grade.
