yeah I did I was so not paying attention and cut someone off on the interstate got a typical response a horn honk and a gesture with his finger. ok fine I deserved as much it was a bonehead move on my part, but how do you convey sorry my bad? waving seems a bit odd & I don't know that he would have seen my shrug my shoulders so I just went about my business. In order to make his point he had to get on my right side and flash me another bird as he drove by...whatever dude yes I was wrong, I got you're mad at me take a deep breath let it go. No no as he was about to exit off he had to roll down his window and flash me the bird one last time, at that point I started laughing which was kinda nice I needed a good laugh for a change.

going to the mall was a better idea in theory

but after waiting that long to get off the interstate, and getting into the parking lot and finding a parking space there was no way in hell I wasn't going to go in and shop some! Tax free is tax free and most stores were having some great sales to sucker entice the shoppers in myself included.
My afternoon jaunt was fraught with rookie mistakes there are several approaches I could have made to the mall that would have been easier than the interstate....come on what was I thinking?! and parking again I knew the best location I don't know why I tried closer or why I didn't go as planned first thing this morning?! But I did discover Auntie Anne's Pretzels yummm super delish why have I not had these before? oh yeah I hate going to the mall that may have something to do with it.

The little stick to the left of your steering wheel you can flip the stick upwards to indicate a right turn and conversely with a flick of the wrist downwards you can indicate a left turn. And the beauty part.....wait for it......the turn signal will turn itself off after you have completed your turn.
Similarly they can be used to indicate any sort of lane change you may be making unfortunately you will have to turn the directional off yourself in this case but it will making a click click click noise to remind that it needs to be turned off

and more importantly they had coffee for mommy at school this morning! We must be moving up in the world it was actually good coffee & they had real creamer, unlike the primary school who only ever offered the powdered stuff. I wonder if we'll get flavored creamer by the time we hit the intermediate school? and then who knows Bailey's Irish Creme at the high school? I don't know if I missed an email or a flyer but they were also trying to raise money for the Empty Stocking Fund, a very worthwhile cause and I was grateful for the freak coincidence of having cash in my wallet that I could donate, it didn't look like they were taking credit cards. My only complaint would be some of the parents seemed unaware that the parking lot is considered part of the school zone. Wow slow down you idiots! and sadly David no I don't think they have a donuts for dad morning...dads once again the short end of the stick.

well at least the 3 car loads of kids racing on I-40 weaving in and out of traffic the other day they were stupid.

I am fortunate to have a schedule that generally has me back in our little hamlet of Farragut by the time rush hour starts-alright so no it's not really a hamlet but my point is by the time rush hour hits I am generally speaking about around town driving not the interstate.
With school in the evenings twice a week I am finding myself venturing into rush hour traffic-it's not far from the house or anything but the idiotic drivers are plentiful...
If someone is drifting over into your lane guaranteed they are talking on their cell phone..
Yesterday there was an unnecessary slow down near a car wreck. It was not blocking traffic at all and there was no ambulance present so no blood or dead bodies on the side the road and yet the idiot in front of me came to an almost screeching halt. Thank God I was paying attention or I would have screeching halted myself right into the back of their car. In this day and age when you can log onto the inner-web and view thousands of car accidents on you tube why rubber neck?
and honestly my first thought was there is no car wreck for me because no f**king way I can miss class like ever this summer or I will be totally confused as opposed to moderately confused as I am now
