you my dear are "cray cray"
there was some discussion this past weekend over a shared distaste of the phrase "cray cray" but you know it just totally fits some people and some situations to a T.

causing road rage
yeah I did I was so not paying attention and cut someone off on the interstate got a typical response a horn honk and a gesture with his finger. ok fine I deserved as much it was a bonehead move on my part, but how do you convey sorry my bad? waving seems a bit odd & I don't know that he would have seen my shrug my shoulders so I just went about my business. In order to make his point he had to get on my right side and flash me another bird as he drove by...whatever dude yes I was wrong, I got you're mad at me take a deep breath let it go. No no as he was about to exit off he had to roll down his window and flash me the bird one last time, at that point I started laughing which was kinda nice I needed a good laugh for a change.
ways to drive me crazy
#241 not answering texts or phone calls...
seriously my dear husband you are in a hospital bed what else do you have to do but respond to the occasional text or a phone call?

never wake a sleeping child
parenting 101 right? except sometimes the mommy gene overrides all sanity and logic and one finds oneself waking the baby in an effort to confirm the baby is still breathing....I am curious clearly C is not a baby so when does this overwhelming an idiotic compulsion stop???? I just woke my almost 10 year old "baby" to make sure he was still breathing because he does not normally sleep until almost 8 on the weekends

guess I figured wrong
I thought everyone bought enough groceries to last the ice age earlier in the week...um no evidently not beacuse the store was an absolute nuthouse this afternoon it took me twice as long to take care of my weekly shop which got me cranky, talk to myself cranky and you would think people would get out of the way of a cranky lady muttering under her breath but again no it just made them move slower and/or stand in one spot blocking access to the rest of the aisle

last week of summer
Friday is also meet the teacher day. The school posted info yesterday no no not online on the building and each grade had assigned times to come meet your teacher on Friday. 3rd grade is from 1-2 why thanks so very much, um not all of us are SAHM moms. Oh well I really didn't want to work all day on friday anyway...
There was more complete and specific list of items the boy need supply-wise posted from his teacher. It would be really nice if they could get that sort of thing together before the tax-free weekend and get it out to us parents! I go through this each year. I guessed most of it correctly but we still need to pick up a few more items this weekend.
I was surprised to hear on the radio that the state is already talking about getting rid of the sales tax holiday. I understnad maybe dropping the spring holday but it seems like a suspect choice to do away with the whole concept. It clearly spurred the economy this weekend in TN and if you abolish ours it will just send folks over to neighboring Georgia next summer to take advantage of their tax holiday
