truly amazing what a good night of sleep will do for your mood

a solid 9 hours and dare I say I'm feeling down right perky this morning...but I'm at work now so I am fairly certain it won't last. I work in an older building and the owner is an air conditioning or rather lack of air conditioning crazed lunatic so work is unpleasantly sweltering at times.

the heating situation

up until a week ago our heat pump merely kept us from not freezing to death..now thanks to a loan from TVA we have a new heat pump that in fact actually heats the house. I am down right toasty on this raw, chilly rainy Sunday.

just how hot is it?
