not quite 23 anymore

hell not even 33 for that matter but the Psychedelic Furs show last night was fun! What was not smart was to be standing & dancing in front of the speaker I am so hoping the ringing in my right ear goes away soon, and someone remind me to buy ear plugs before I go to another show!

too much social media?

the blog, facebook, twitter and now google+ ?! It's too much pressure trying to not repeat myself in one or more of the outlets, let alone to try and be witty. I'd stress about myspace too it I could recall the last time I actually logged onto myspace or if I could even remember my password.

everything still alive & well & growing!

executive decision

was made to go to the healthy kids cooking class at our local Earth Fare. C was a bit peeved with me at first but he spends more than enough time with his head in video games, the television and the computer so an hour at free cooking class was an idea I was insisting upon. Going in I told him if he had a horrible time that he would never have to go again....minutes in he decided he had was having a great time and would like to go again! It's an every other week thing so I have already entered it onto my calendar, I also discovered the alternate weeks there is a class for adults so I have entered those into my calendar as well. Earth Fare is indeed an awesome grocery!

the three day weekend

oh thank God we have one I love when holidays fall correctly...in fact can we just change the dates on all holidays so they always coincide with a weekend?

well I hate to see the moving truck in the driveway

next door is a rental property and for the past year we have been fortunate to have friendly, quiet, well mannered neighbors who most importantly have a son just a few years younger than C. They were fast & furious friends and playmates we will be sad to see them leave. And sit in fear of the next family that might move in....ya never know with rentals!

no worries I'd facebook funeral arrangements

a friend was over last night and was mentioning an odd text he got last weekend from a number he did not recognized that "David had passed away funeral arrangements and the Obituarie was going to be in Saturday's paper"...I saw the text and yes obituary was spelled wrong & everything but the disturbing part for S was David who?! He called a mutual friend to make sure it was not my David and figured he would watch for Saturday's paper. Who on earth would send out such a text without at the very least giving out a full name, David is a fairly common name more than likely a person might know more than 1 and for that matter who the hell would send that information out in a text?! clearly social media would be a better place for that sort of info!

the spices are rocking & rolling and the cucumber bush appears to have sprouted!!! Tomato & pepper plants still alive and looking better every day!

my phone while smart has a smaller screen and emails that come through have a condensed subject field.
Earth Fare-the healthy supermarket is edited down to the

which I always read as healthy sperm
and I generally think of that as an email I would not want to open

of course the tomato plant & pepper plants sitting in my garage are dying as we speak I really need to stop and get some containers and get those planted this afternoon! The cucumber bush was seeds so I would like to get those started soon as well.
